| Notice of Unauthorized Rent Deduction |
Ever have tenants take it upon themselves to take deductions out of the rent without your approval?
The Notice of Unauthorized Rent Deduction helps you nip a potential bad tenant habit in the bud. Many of us know that when we let the tenant slide on a small (or big) infraction, you can bet there's more to come. The LPA Lease prohibits any witholding of rent in Lease Article # 39. This form is not only a reminder that deductions should not be made without the landlord's written cosent, but the Notice of Unauthorized Rent Deduction also advises the tenant that witholding rent is a lease violation. The balance must be brought current within a specific period of time or penalties and fees can mount in addition to the lease /rental agreement being terminated. As with all our Essential Forms, this notice is in MS Word format, can be stored in your word processing program and is easily customized to fit your exact needs. ![]() |
