Tenants always tell me of the greatest laws.
We should make up a webpage of Tenant "Laws" that our tenants tell us about.

My tenant told me that it is the law that the landlord paint the inside of the house or apartment every year.

Another one said it is against the law to charge a late fee.

Wow I am glad you are not my landlord. You see some times the landlord is wrong.. You shouldnt have such a doodiety look one people. You are no better than your renter and I hope you find out how your renter feels and you run into someone that is above you in or where ever you are and treats you as you treat them.

It helps to know the law. Landlord/tenant law books are available at the courthouse.

Pick up a landlord/tenant law book from your local courthouse. Don't rely on he aid/she said. It's your own responsibility to know your rights as a tenant or landlord.
