Need help getting rid of a tenant. by Brad Fleming on November 29, 2001 @19:30

We have a tenant that has been late with rent every month since sighning lease. We served her notice last month of termination of lease for nonpayment of rent. She came up with the money and we decided to give her another chance. Now we are having problems with loud parties going on all night. We regret our decision to give her another chance. What rights do we have for eviction for loud music after hours? Are there any nuiesance laws to protect us from the loud music? She has been asked several times to stop the after hours parties. The police have not been called. Any ideas?

If you still have problems, serve a violation notice with a huge ADDED RENT penalty if she does not straighten out. If things still don't get better, you might have to evict this clown. Tom
