Owner Occupied Question by Cher V on June 20, 2002 @11:46

We own a duplex in which we rent the lower unit and we reside in the upper unit. We have had the same tenants since we bought our property and they are basically good tenants - we have had our share of problems - noise, late payments (monthly) but we are basically happy that they at least pay. My question is this, we have a next door neighbor that just purchased her house approximately 2 years ago and let's just say she is a nightmare - she has called the police on us for tree debris, etc. and just recently set up lot lines (we will have to move our fence approximately 2 inches, not a problem just a lot of work). We do not coffee clutch with any of our neighbors for the simple fact that we did not want any of these problems and what do you know - we have them anyway. Our tenants have a friendly relationship with her and we have recently found out that they tell her things that they overhear us talking about which has caused some of the problems with her (i.e. simple yard complaints, falling fence, etc). Can we ask our tenants to be considerate of the problems we are having with her and not allow her on our property (I would hate to run into her when I am at home). I consider us to be awesome landlords, we go out of our way to take care of everything and make sure our tenants are comfortable. I have been studying up on this and cannot find any answers, I want to know my rights before I do anything I will regret. If there is someone out there that can help, I would really appreciate it.
