I didn't steer them towards a problem. I told them the past tenant had smelled something but I never had nor any of my friends that stayed with me. Good thing I told them because once they smelled it he asked me why I had a candle lit and they thought I was trying to cover up the smell with a votive candle. However, I do see you point...thanks! I really don't like being a landlord...it doesn't pay to be honest.
