And why are the rentals pieces of s*^+ as you put it?

Because tenants with the attitude that the LL can take care of tenants damage, garbage and filth. Tenants who trash property then move on to the next unsuspecting LL. Courts that protect the lazy deadbeats & not the HARDWORKING LL's, that's why!

Our business is Hard Work, foreign concept to some tenants. Hard physically some of the time but Hard mentally all of the time.

We do depend on the tenants, that is what our business is based on. But what you seem to forget is tenants get something in return for the rent they pay. A roof over their heads.

LL's are not stealing their money. Tenants come to a LL, look at the property agree to certain terms (the lease or rental contract) then more often then not they want to alter the agreement (pay late, pay in bits & pieces, extra animals, damage etc.) or flat our disregard the agreement all together.

I always find it interesting when tenants post here. They never seem to get the answers they want to hear. And almost always go away mad. This is a business for us not a charity service. We don't owe the tenants anything more then what the leases or rental agreements they sign have stated. And as far as respect goes. You get what you give. When tenants show me and my property respect they get respect but when they don't then they are added to the pile of deadbeats that are out there.

So I'm not suggesting you go away mad but you might consider just going away!

i will never go away. i am not like most tenants i treat my rental like its my home. i painted with the LL permission and did a better job than he did and he ever said that. i fixed the bathroom when he was away and he couldnt thank me enough. i have been his longest tenant to date. i know the laws. if i dont something i search for it.

when tenants post here they deserve a answer not just move as a annswer. i mean come on. i agree some tenants are asses and deserve what they get but some of us need real answer since sometime LL's do shady things..

I'm sorry; did I miss your question? What I read was you assuming by reading the post that the LL had done something wrong because the Judge ruled against her.

But ok let's be fair, you as a tenant assume the LL is wrong based on your point of view, as a tenant. I on the other hand, assume the tenant got away with something based on my experience as a LL.

Aside from the first hand experience I have as a LL (as if that wasn't enough!)another reason I assume the things I do is the posts we get here from tenants. Right now we have a woman asking other LL’s how to get a couple free months of rent out of her LL, so she can save up to move one day. The sad part about that is, the right judge, the right sob story, maybe not bathing for a day or two before going to court & her & her brood just might get the free time she is seeking. Sad but true. I am hoping she is in a state that is more LL friendly then mine is.

my question was a response to a LL also being mean towards tenants posts. thats it i wasnt siding with anyone..

i agree 1000000% that some tenant posts are posts to screw there LL but some just want answers because there LL is doing the screwing...
