does "I won't be living here, but I'm gonna store my stuff at my uncles apt(he wants to rent one) & get dressed here in the morn before I go to work" not equal you're a tenant too???? Is it just me???

If nothing else, those who maintain clothes, or perform regular functions normally done in one's home (shower, get ready, eat meals, sleep, relax, etc), have at a minimum, turned the place into a secondary residence. In my mind as a landlord, that requires clearance from me for the applicant as they are setting up residency, even if not primary.

I would tell him it's not a storage facility. You're either a tenant or not, and if you aren't you can't even change your clothes in the morning there.
