She might have been telling you to wait to call after November (holidays) because if you call on Wednesday you might not get an answer or no one will be there that can help you because alot of poeple take their vacation time that day because it's right before the holidays (I am).
As for filing for the money owed, I'd wait until they are out of the house, since they already owe you more than what you can take them to SSC for, you will need to get possesion of the house back to see if there is any damage done inside the house and more money that they owe you.

OK you do have a point there (which I believe was her point too after thinking about if for awhile). Anyway, if I wait until after the holidays, the first day I can call is the 30th. Technically, the difference is only 1 "business day" if I call on the 25th versus the 30th. I'll call early on the 25th to check if someone can serve the warrant then.

I'm thinking of filing with the SSC now since it would take at least 2 more weeks before the guy is out. At least now, he will still receive the summons at his current address. Then file another one if needed after I get the apt. back. The apt. was still in very good shape the last time I saw it (Oct). He does not have many stuff and I still have 1500 SD.
