Well, good news. I went to the bank on my break and I successfully cashed the check. I didn't have them put it in my bank account, rather I just went up to the teller and she gave me cold hard cash for it, no questions asked. So I'm glad it turned out ok for me this time.

I'm surprised the bank cashed the check. My bank won't take a post dated check. Maybe they didn't notice the date.

    Odd. No teller has ever even questioned me about a date on a check. They just automatically cash them.
