How much should an account charge? by Anonymous on February 7, 2010 @19:22
I have been using an acountant for many years. His prices I thought were high but I feel it was worth it.
This included my business and 2 rental properties.
I no longer have own business (4 years now) and I am still paying the same amount. It has been suggested to me that I should find someone else.
I don't know what to do.
I am trying to find out what others pay maybe a list of prices accountants use.

Last year my accountant charged us $625.00 for our personal and business taxes.

$400 per return ( so when I lived in PA and had property in CA I paid $1200 for 3 returns.

Why dont you try out H&R block for 1 year. Or try their free service?
