As a rule, Tenants ALWAYS feel they are paying too much even when they are paying below market!

If you are a tenant who feels he or she is being over charged,
1. Ask yourself WHY you rented there in the first place.

2. Try to find a better deal and decide if it is worth it to move.

3. Ask your landlord to lower the rent.

Mary just got a rent increase. The LL isn't going to lower her rent now!

Her only alternative is to look for a cheaper place to move, give the appropriate amount of notice, and move.
