This is probably a common problem, but we have new tenants who seem to have a hard time paying the rent. They have only been here 3 months and have 9 more months on the lease.

Part of the trick is that we think one of them is nuts. He had a business dealing with a friend of ours and
got un-necessarily angry and abusive. Also the house they are renting is right next door to ours.

So, should we offer to let them out of the lease early since it seems like they can't afford it? We don't mind
losing a bit of money but are a bit worried about angering them if they are going to be here for months more!

If you can, let the nut case go. It is just a matter of time until he gets crazy with you.
