Polly, that is not a "line". That is likely a statement from the lease, at least from my LPA lease. It is only fair to point out both sides of the issue to the OP. IMO, without more input from the OP, which has not been supplied as yet, this issue cannot be adaquetely judged one way or another.

PollyMo, doesn't your lease state that tenants rent the place "as is"? I suppose you offer to fix every last thing for every last tenant every last time they ask!
