Sounds like a stupid tenant. Probably best to get them out. The best way to do that, I'm not so sure. You could say, "sure you can leave". After they leave, keep their deposit (be sure to comply with the deposit accounting laws). They could sue, but not likely if they are at fault. I hope you have written receipts with comments from the plumbers. If you don't let them out, they will likely cause more property damage.
