Thank you all so much!!! You guys are so appreciated, you have no idea!

Tenant finally replied to e-mail I had sent him prior to me posting here that says he mailed rent and due to holiday, will receive Tues. We'll see. Also said he plans to move on 10th (early) and not to bother him until after! So entitled!! I don't think I even want to see his face at the walk through! Grrrrr!

Question though... Since he is voluntarily moving out early, when it comes time to show again, I still need to post notice right since he is still technically the renter? (providing that rent tomorrow is in full amt. for Sept.?)

When the tenant legally returns possession of the premises to you, that means keys are returned and all of his possessions are gone, you can do what you have to do to re show the house.
Be careful to follow proper procedures returning security deposit and documenting that exchange.
