Does anyone have experience with ALE Solutions?

I was wondering if anyone out there has dealt with ALE Solutions. According to their web site (www.alesolutions.com), they are "a nationwide temporary housing provider focused exclusively on serving insurance companies and their policyholders to provide temporary housing solutions." They contacted me yesterday about renting our single family home to provide temporary housing for a local family that recently had a house fire.
I have never worked with them and would appreciate feedback from anyone who has. Thank you!

it's a scam - these agencies ONLY deal with registered LL's with their services. the call you got was from the prospective 'tenant' that wants to move into your house, have you chase a phoney person for the rent and then make you evict them
they're gypsies kellyseidler@yahoo.com

Reading their website, it is obvious that these folks are contractors who work with insurance companies or insured owners to offer temporary housing when a property has been damaged and must be vacated to be rebuilt or restored. This means your property will be offered to folks on a short-term basis and you will be dealing directly with a large company that does not have a physical presence in your city. While the tenants are likely to be average folks waiting for their house to be rebuilt, you will not be dealing with them directly. If you have a problem, you'll have to handle it with ALE by phone or email and that doesn't sit well with me. Personally, I wouldn't do it. Don't want short term rental, frequent turnover, long periods of vacancy, and unknown tenants in my units.

I am a licensed realtor and specialize in the leasing of properties. I have worked with numerous companies like this one with great success. I will be moving one of their families into one of our rentals this week and will check back and let you know how this company works out. Benefits are: if you don't mind or actually need a short term lease is that they pay over the asking price. (In my case) $500 over for this rental and they pay on time... Sometimes my clients that rent out actually need a tenant for a short term every so often. The increase in rent makes up for a vacancy. I will check back after to let you know how this company worked out...

Speaking as a displaced homeowner, A.L.E. has done absolutely nothing to find me living quarters and in fact refused payment on a condo we (my husband and I) wanted to rent while approving payment on a hotel room that cost twice as much as the condo. They must have some kind of a sweet deal (kickbacks?) with hotel chains to arrange for clients to stay in hotels while refusing less expensive single-family housing options. As a consumer, I am not at all happy with A.L.E. solutions, and it looks like I'll be stuck in a hotel room for the next 4-6 months while my house is being rebuilt.

Yes, they are great. I've worked with them on multiple occasions on my homes here in SLC. We own Utah's Best Vacation Rentals and they were reputable and good to work with.

stay away from them for one they charge you 10% for making a phone call or two--for another thing they are rude and disrespectful --especially when they call to arrange lodging so that when you arrive you get pissed off staff we had valuables taken from our room --stolen by staff-- and extra cleaning fees added to our bill due to the unprofessional contacts and personal comments ALE related to the various hotels we stayed at. just book your own rooms directly by contacting the sales manager directly

I am sure ALE solutions pays property owners their rent on time. But as a displaced home owner out of my home for 5 monthes they were a nightmare, harrassing, and trying to scam my insurance out of more money by picking up rental furniture before rent was up every month. My rental on furniture was from the 6th of the month to the 6th of the month but they would send me letters scheduling pick up the 15th of the month and threatening extra charges if I did not make it availible. When I finally just moved back into my house(before it was completed because I was tired of the biweekly hassle) they refused to pick up their furniture because I put they extra linens and things out for them on the furniture so they didn't have to dig them out, an still had belongings in the apartment. And of course notified me they were going to charge extra as they could not possibly move a magazine off a coffee table. It has been a nightmare and I would not advise anyone to use ALE Solutions!

I have worked with them as a landlord and it has been nothing but a big mess! I never get returned phone calls from them and have had to chase them for money. Do not trust these people!
