Obviously we are not getting the whole story here, but these people sound like they have established residency in the home.

If you're trying to get rid of them and they won't cooperate, you will need to go through with a legal eviction. Check your state laws, give whatever written notice is required and DOCUMENT it, then go to court if they still refuse to leave.
