Because I left right from the courts. They first sent me to the wrong sheriffs which was an additional 40 min out of the way. They did not state any costs nor had a number for me to call. Then I went to the other sheriffs and he did all the papers and then mentioned the price, first time anone state anything. The courts I got the warrant was 45 min away form my house, the first sheriff I was sent too was 40 min away from there and the final sheriff was another hour from there. Then I was an hour and a half away from home. Not one erson mentioned this cost. I only had $50 on me which covers their gas cost, not filing costs

Did you think this was a FREE service? This is on you, why were you not prepared? Did you not learn before hand what the steps were in doing an eviction?
