Move tenant's stuff?

I have a tenant that is playing the system. She has been told to leave and her attorney states that she will, but conveniently she is hopitalized as soon as the date arrives. This is the second time and I am frustrated and just want her out. What happens if I pack up the tenant's stuff and store it in the basement?

Have you gone to court to get an eviction order? If not you need to do that first and then you can have the Sheriff come and kick her out and then you can move her stuff to the basement or to storage. Unless you have an official court order evicting her you can not do anything. Let us know if you have an eviction on her and then we might be able to help you better.

If the tenant has an attorney they know how to play you. Do not move anything out. The woman is still your tenant until she surrenders the key and moves her junk. If you want to see what happens if you move your tenant's junk to the basement, her attorney will show you.
