i own a condo, and rented it out and I moved in with my boyfriend. My mortgage was less than what it costs to rent a place out. I could afford the mortgage, but can't afford what it will cost to rent a place. Rent is always usually more than a mortgage. I didn't even have time to recoup any kind of money from my renters because this just occurred as of December 1st. Besides that, the amount that i'm renting it out for still doesn't allow me the financial freedom to rent a place for myself.
