I understand your aggravation. Sometimes it feels like the non paying tenant has all the rights. What you did was not illegal to do just not wise since you can't guarantee she will be out by the 1st of Feb. You don't want to have a tenant ready to move in and the old one still there. Proceed with going to the sheriff and get her out and then advertise. If you do not like her harassing you then you may have to contact an attorney and have them send her a nasty letter to stop.
