I have section 8 tenants now, its my understanding they are different programs. I have had same tenants for 7 yrs on section 8 never a problem .i welcome the once a yr inspection because it keeps me on my toes for the little repairs that i might not really think of. So am i to understand that dss and section 8 are the same? inspections also?

No wonder the tenants case worker called you! They knew that you take Sec 8. You in turn have denied a disabled applicant and will be investigated for discrimination. As a landlord, it's your responsibility to know and follow the law.
