You have a couple of distinct issues here. You rented out the 2nd Bedroom; how did you rent that out? Was it a friend you allowed in on a verbal agreement? or is this person an authorized tenant with a signed lease or month to month agreement? How long has this tenant been a resident? Was the 30 day notice in writing? Did you collect a security deposit? There are laws regarding vandalism; other posters suggested police involvement; and yes at least make a formal police report regarding the vandalism, so that you can recoup in small claims court. Verbal harassment may be a bit difficult to deal with, sticks and stones, unless the tenant has made a threat to cause physical injury to you. The law does not recognize anticipatory actions, so you would have to prove your safety situation.
