new tenant law to prevent credit screening by haledp (california) on February 1, 2012 @16:13

Has anyheard of this? I tried looking it up. but what has happened is a person we know as a fellow landlord has told me there is a new law to be passed in california to make it unlawfull to pull someone's credit during the application process. I am green landlord and a member of the LPA and I used the credit screening as part of the application because everyone lies.
