Re: Am I a tenant? What are my rights? by Jack (North FL) on February 8, 2012 @06:36

Do you sleep there?
Do you eat/cook meals there?
Do you do your laundry there?
Do you bathe there?
Do people who don't "live" there come and visit you there?
Do you have your clothes there?

VISITING SOMEONE DOES NOT LAST TWO YEARS!

If she owns the house and let you stay more than two weeks (what most judges would consider), you automatically became a tenant whether you pay rent or not. So yes, she HAS to evict you.

What are you options?

Be an ass and stay until your "friend" or the bank evict you, or GET OUT, you useless sponge.

And stop calling this person a friend. You are NOT!
