First thing. What does your lease say about the LL having access to your house? This is key to you determining what your next step maybe. It sounds like you may want to sit down with your landlord and express your concern and ask for a better explanation. Breaking a lease can be costly. Was anything missing? I am concerned though that the unit was not secured upon your return.

If there was no leak reported and no leak detected and the place was left wide open, does it really matter what the lease says?

The lease states she must call us first and leave a work order that he was in there and why. We did not get a call nor did we get a letter or work order.

I have talk to her about breaking our lease we have to pay out the lease which i still have 9 months left and they keep my deposit.
