You are not getting potential renters, you are getting those who can not find any other place they will rent to them. If you do not accept pets, say so in your advertising/sign. Try to see if you can drop off a notice of available homes you have at your local school, check with business's for anyone locating to the area, your advertising now is not working for you, and you need to try something different. Have a written criteria of what your standards are for renting your homes, credit score of at 600 plus, no evictions, income 3 times the rent, you do background checks, etc.
