I plan to have it all done within 1.5 months start to finish. I've made some upgrades to the unit that I am in, but not to this extent. The same with the unit above me. This renovation will actually decrease the size of the apt by 1/2 a really small room. I'm going to frame up a wall down the middle and make it into 2 walk in closets. 1 for the unit being renovated and 1 for the unit on the other side of the wall (neither one has any real closets right now!)

I supply heat and hot water and the people in my area in Maine have finally figured out how good a deal that is for them. I also have off street parking which is handy around here because they do not allow street parking between 12 and 6AM from November to April for snow plowing reasons. I also allow certain pets. I basically get to cherry-pick my tenants who are in the market for a 1 br.
