After working for a credit reporting agency for over 7 years, I know that nothing stays on your record forever, nothing. Even a bankruptcy can only be reported for 10 years. Sometimes you have to get copies of your credit reports and send letters to the big 3 credit firms and let them know that an account has been showing for over its legal time. A judgement is 7 years. If you have an account in collection and it is over 5 years old do not go in and sign a promissary note on it as it then becomes reportable for another 5 years. It might be worth your time to have an attorney send them a letter if you dont get results, but most credit reporting firms follow the laws and do not want to be sued for reporting information that is beyond the statue of limitations.

Glorya, we are not talking about a credit report.
This is the records that are searched from the county/city court house. These databases are NOT credit history...they are the history of legal cases.
Do you think the criminal history is on the credit report too?
these are totally separate things.

"I know that nothing stays on your record forever"
You talked about everything but evictions. How many of those did you see float off into nowhere?
