I'm a retired E-9 who spent 30 yrs active duty. Call the active members First Sergeant and explain the details. Make sure you have dates and documenation. Most likely, he/she will be called in and see the 1st Sgt or Commander and won't EVER do it again. However, just like civilians, the military has deadbeats and you may have to evict. Either way, the 1st Sgt should help you out.
