Re: Utility bill disconnect notice

The utilities are not part of the rent. The landlord can not apply rent collection practices to the utility bill which he failed to make a part of the lease. Even if the utilities were mentioned in the lease, the landlord is still on the hook for them and can not allow them to be disconnected for any reason.
