Yawn... Nope. You are mistaken.
1) SERVPRO are in NOW. I got them in as fast as I could. They are nearly finished in fact. So that is 75% of the repairs right there. Done promptly and speedily. A-S-A-P. 2) The loss adjustor is going in this afternoon. First available appointment.
So there has been zero delay.
All I have been doing is to inform myself of WHO is responsible for WHAT. I have a much better understanding now of why the LPA lease is drawn up the way it is.
That is the whole purpose of the LPA Q&A forum. And tells me my money on my lifetime membership here was an excellent investment.
You seem to be pre determined to see me as some kind of inhuman monster. I guess that fits with your stereotypical image of the average landlord. Believe it or not, but I'm actually nice to kittens.

Yawn...So that's why your tenants are yelling at you because you were so fast with clean up and carpet replacement....You should really invest some much needed time in learning your State Landlord Tenant laws so you would know what's required of you as a landlord(?). Have you replaced the carpet yet? Your replies seem too leave the impression you have not? Under Louisiana State law, you can not shift your responsibility for storm damage repairs to the tenant. Are you some kind of inhuman monster, no, just an uneducated landlord you tries to dump your responsibility on your tenants. You are the stereotypical image of a landlord that fails to maintain their property and expect the tenant to do it for you at the tenants expense! Yawn....
