Thanks to the alleged landlord for giving me bad advice last month. It costs me $485.

I am sure you got a lot of advice here.
I know that there tends to be many many different poster on each thread, and sometimes one of them will not be very good..but..I also know that bad advice is contradicted by the other posters.
It would be good to get more specific information... perhaps we all could learn a lesson from your experience.
Please post more info.

If the post referenced above was your post, I don't understand what the concern is. The post inquires if you can be evicted, there was a resounding "Yes" that unpaid rent, child or no child, winter or summer, is viable grounds for eviction.
If that's not the post you're referring to, please let us know and I'll try to see if someone did steer you wrong. The main concern is that everyone that posts here is ultimately annonymous, so you should perform due diligence, specifically speaking with a lawyer to ensure you are following all of the appropriate local and state laws.

I do not know how anyone here cost you money. If you were the one who was wondering if two children would exempt you from paying rent and being evicted, here was my advice that followed in the same vein as the other posters.
"Your landlord is not going to allow you to live free in his rental and the courts do not care how many children you have or how old they are. And, it does not matter that it is the dead of winter."
