You do not need to have an attorney to file though if you are new to the process you should have one. Go down to the courthouse one morning and hang around the courtroom for LL/Tenant court. You will find a bunch of lawyers that will be able to help you. We did not have an attorney that exclusively dealt with evictions. He had experience in that court forum though and charged a flat fee for the entire case.
