Yes, the windows need to open. But to be honest you are renting a house was built in 50's this is 2012 don't be to picky.Your post does sound like you will be a PITA tenant.EVERY TIME I have had a tenant want a reduction in rent it has ended in a early termination of the lease. Please tenants if you can't afford the rent, don't like the condition of the rental, keep going down the road.Landlords are in business to make money.You are borrowing the house, not buying it!!!
