If you are indeed responsible for the tires, you are only responsible for the DEPRECIATED value of the tires he had on the vehicle. Even when you buy new tires and get the protection plan, they prorate the value after a set amount of time/mileage. If he was riding around on two year old tires that had the treads worn down or he never bothered maintaining the air pressure in them and rode them half flat which causes additional wear/damage, then that is what he is entitled to from you. Take a gander on craigslist or ebay. Some advertised as in good condition are selling for $25 each.

10 days notice and bye bye.Pa does not have uniform rental agreement and you can create own.I have in mine "parking excluded from rental" and "parking lot and back yard can be used on the risk of the tenant" I do not plow ,clean leaves and pay for flat tire. But i am making other mistakes ...still after 8 years of being Landlord.

"10 days notice and bye bye" This is retaliation by the landlord for tenant exercising their rights. The tenant has every right to expect compensation for a known danger that the landlord has knowledge of and has failed to remedy.

Problem is, this is not a "known danger" since it is not the exclusive source of potential tire-flattening screws or nails in this case. It is equally likely that the tenant has driven past or over a construction site or a new building and he has encountered the damaging item there. There's simply no evidence which eliminates other sources or restricts the possibilities to this one source.

Dear read carefully...those tenants just use a good will of the landlord...read read read.I am afraid that for money they are doing on flat tires they will save a nice down payment for own house...
