Godsmith wasn't costing the system money, so the system was quite happy to let the landlord holding the bag for as long as possible.

"What's scary is... That at least six landlords did not either screen or go after this tenant for damages and rent! If he was evicted or had a judgement against him, you would think someone would have discovered this fact before renting.
