When you screen and look at bank statements (?), wouldn't that give you an idea of liquid assets?

Liquid assets are not just what is in your checking or saving accounts. They also include bonds, insurance policys that may be cashed out and some stocks. Anything that can be converted to cash and used immediatly. Since I require a 700 or better credit score and 3X the rental income I have not looked at bank statements, however I believe I should have. (I am a newbie)Seeing a few months bank statements would verify much.
