I doubt they will pay unless you make them. If you know where they work, you can make a claim against thier wages. I don't know the specifics because my deadbeat tenants moved out of state and don't work.

    Can you garnish a bank account?

    Is your state one where they can be placed in jail for contempt of court for not paying the judgment?

    yes you can ... taxes, child support and landlords are the exceptions.

    It's not easy (meaning you've got to know what paperwork and how to do it correctly) and not worth the time and effort if they don't have a steady job. I had my lawyer do it for me. My tenant filed the exception or whatever it's called for federal poverty level ... except he earned about 5x too much. the Sheriff's office then took over and contested his contest (or something like that.) His employer sends me a check every week. I am also earning the statutory 6% interest on that judgment until paid in full !

    You need a lawyer to do the paperwork for you ... well, you don't "need" the lawyer but it will be a lot easier and worth whatever the fee is.
