long-distance rental & low-maintenance landscaping by anonymous (Nevada) on April 21, 2012 @00:46

Hi everyone, I have a rental house in Las Vegas and currently live in Colorado. I am trying to make the landscaping as low-maintenace and water-free as possible. Are there certain desert trees/shrubs/plants that require no watering? Any ideas, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to google native plants and xeriscape for Las Vegas or Nevada. I'm sure you'll find a lot of things that are very water wise.

Get some plastic plants from Hobby Lobby. They do not need water or sun.

Just rock it with native desert xeriscape plants. That's what they do in Phoenix.
