I don't think there is anything you can do to change her mind. She probably quoted a high sales price to let you know it is time for you to make other plans for the coming year.

Money, lots of it, would make me change my mind and permit a tenant to stay, but that's just me and I'm not your LL. You probably couldn't afford the amount of money I'd raise your rent, so that's why you'd be getting a notice of termination of tenancy.
It's not personal. The LL doesn't owe you anything for being a good tenant. The property belongs to the LL.

This just does not sound like the right attitude. I would like to hear from all the other landlords who believe a good tenant has no value and deserves no consideration.
