That's a brilliant point. Why don't tenants ever end up sharing a proportional part of their raises? It's only fair, right?

It's always the landlords who are expected to lower rent when a tenant finds themselves with a LOWER salary, but never whey it's HIGHER.

Ask Mr. Silly Tenant the last time he got a raise and then confront him if it's the same thing or not. I'd LOVE to hear his response.

I have confronted him with a rent increase. I'm pretty sure he got the point. I hope he leaves. I'm not confident he will. If he doesn't, I'll give him a 60 day notice to vacate.
