Nuvan strips seem to work pretty well. hang them in sealed areas (closets, cupboards) wrap the bed in plastic cover so bugs are trapped and starve to death (takes a year or so).
to completely eradicate- have pros fumigate.
for DIY - caulk cracks, vaccum like crazy, rent a good steamer and steam everything repeatedly.
