Re: Pricing Rentals and Cash Reserves by Shaun (FL) on May 17, 2012 @10:57

Earlier this year I had difficulty getting a place to show. Problem, I leased it to a crazy lady, took it off the market, turned other tenants away, yada, yada, yada.
Of course people on CL didn't know all this... So I'm sure they thought something was wrong b/c it seemed as though it wasn't renting. I lowered the price $5.00 a month, which made it sound cheaper (the old $9.99 vs $10 bucks) and advertised it as JUST REDUCED!!!
Had it rented and a waiting list in 10 days.

People do love to think they got a bargain ;-)
