This is why one should post the p/q on day 2 and file for eviction at the end of the p/q period. Even this close to a move-out. Now the LL is stuck using some of the SD on the rent, instead of getting her rental repaired, and she's gotta hope to find the tenant now she's moved out in order to serve for a money judgment on the damage.

Exactly, my answer was to the person who said you can't use SD for rent owed. But I agree. It is not the best scenario especially when other damages need to be repaired.
