You may be able to go the angle that they cannot run a business from their home if it's mentioned in the lease that the home is to be used only for residential use and not commercial use. It's a stretch.
Another angle is to tell the neighbor that you inspected and nothing untoward was happened that you observed. If the neighbor still has an issue then it's his problem and you need something concrete than his imagination.
