I know that in New York and Massachusetts you must be the owner of the property or the licensed agent of the owner before you can file for an eviction in court.

Without the eviction order from a judge, DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING belonging to this person.

If you are not the owner...then go talk to your landlord

This is not a case where it will even go to court afterall. I suspect he has outstanding issues that may send him to jail. Best bet is to go quietly. Im going to take the phone, change the wireless code and unhook the cable so he is motivated to go somewhere else. HE can have water, electricity and enjoy himself with that.
