Is it legal to state in the lease that no one is allowed to stay overnight?

How would you enforce such a clause? Tenants are allowed to have guest and friends.

"Tenants are allowed to have guest and friends."
Where is it required that the landlord must allow overnight guest and friends?

Where is it required that a landlord must prevent overnight guest? And what kind of landlord would try to prevent a tenant from having overnight guest? How long do you think a landlord would have a tenant under such terms?

No. That would never be upheld.
The OP was asking about unauthorized residents, not sleepover guests.
