I think he planned this. If your grow mold on an old orange and then spray lemon juice on your walls and introduce the green mold spores to the lemon juice you will have a great growth of mold at those temperatures. I feel he caused this to get money and you should fight this since you have already paid a mold remediation company to give you a report. You have professionals to back you up. There are just so many scamming out there. You also have the walk through and the new lease so you should be in good shape. I have started to have quarterly inspections so I can see how they are maintaining my properties. This also allows me to see damages and have them repaired and charged to the tenant since i have a clause in my contract that damages will be paid for at the time of repair not deducted from security deposit. If i spot mold or mildew on window frames or in the bathroom it is documented and they have to remedy it immediately so that it will not spread. Hope everything goes well
