Seriously? You don't let tenants hang pictures on the wall? Do people walk away before signing the lease after hearing that? I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just stunned. I never would have rented a place where I couldn't hang artwork.

We weren't discussing my lease, we were talking about the OP's lease which OP says bars tenant from putting holes in the walls. Personally, I don't mind if folks want to hang things right up to a tv, it's no big deal to spackle & touch up paint. But I am a hard-ass about the adhering to the letter of the lease, if we agreed to it, then it should be respected by both parties.

You know there are now ways that you can hang a picture without pounding a hole in a wall that does not belong to you? Geeze
